Evan's Tree & Land Services
Folsom's Local Choice for Tree Care and Land Clearing
With a second location right here at 13323 Verger Rd, Folsom isn’t an afterthought for us, it’s one of our two home bases on the North Shore. Rural Folsom properties tend to run bigger than what you’ll find closer to the lake, which means more acreage, more mature trees, and often more at stake when a pine or oak starts to fail. Our licensed and insured crews handle everything from a single problem tree to a full acreage clearing project, without needing to drive in from somewhere else to do it.

Removing Trees That Have Become a Liability
Folsom’s landscape is full of tall pines and heavy oaks, and both species carry specific risks once they’re damaged, diseased, or simply growing too close to a structure or fence line. Our tree removal crews are built around handling exactly these species, not a one-size-fits-all approach to cutting down trees. Once a tree is on the ground, we finish the job properly with stump grinding and removal, so you’re not left with a stump in the middle of your field or yard.
Routine Trimming to Avoid Bigger Problems Later
Bigger properties often mean more trees to keep an eye on, and small issues are easy to miss until they become expensive. Our tree trimming service catches that early, whether it’s limbs growing into power lines, dead branches that could come down in a windstorm, or growth patterns putting unnecessary strain on a trunk. Staying ahead of it tends to cost far less than dealing with storm damage after the fact.
Round-the-Clock Help When Storms Roll Through
Being based in Folsom means we’re already positioned here when severe weather hits, not scrambling to get a crew out from farther away. Our storm damage cleanup team operates 24/7, clearing downed trees and storm debris as quickly as it’s safe to do so. One longtime client, Gail Varble, has spoken directly about Evan refusing to price-gouge after Hurricane Ida, even while several competitors quadrupled their rates. That’s not a line we use for marketing, it’s just how we’ve always run things.
Land Clearing, Utility Work, and Demolition for Larger Projects
Folsom’s larger lots often call for more than tree work alone. Property owners prepping raw acreage for a new build or reclaiming overgrown land rely on our land clearing crews to get the job done efficiently. When growth starts creeping toward overhead power lines, our utility line clearance service keeps that risk in check, and when a structure itself needs to come down as part of a bigger project, our demolition team handles that work too.

A Local Crew You Can Actually Reach
This is genuinely dangerous work, which is why we stay fully licensed and insured and run every job with real safety measures, protective gear, secured work zones, and equipment suited to the task at hand. Having a true presence in both Folsom and Covington means we’re not covering a huge territory from a single truck parked somewhere else entirely. Owner Evan Wiener also stays personally reachable, which matters when you’re trusting someone with heavy equipment near your home or land. If a tree on your property needs attention, start with a free tree removal quote and we’ll take it from there.
LICENSED AND INSURED
Tree work isn’t something to guess your way through, it takes real skill and a serious commitment to safety. Our team carries full licensing and insurance on every job, so Folsom property owners can trust the work gets done right. Our certified arborists know how to remove hazardous trees safely and catch signs of poor health before they become bigger problems.
