Evan's Tree & Land Services
Tree Removal and Land Services in Covington, LA
Covington properties deal with a specific kind of tree trouble, tall pines that come down hard in a storm and mature oaks that grow into power lines and rooflines over time. Evan’s Tree & Land Services is based right here at 74682 LA-25, and we’ve built our work around the species and storms this part of Louisiana actually deals with. Whether it’s a single hazardous tree in the yard or full storm cleanup after a hurricane rolls through, our crews handle it directly, licensed, insured, and equipped for the job.

Tree Removal Built Around Pine and Oak Hazards
Pine and oak removal is a specific focus of ours, not just a line item on a longer list of services. Both species pose real risk to Covington homeowners when they’re diseased, storm-damaged, or simply too close to a structure, and our tree removal crews are trained specifically for the way these trees fail. Once a tree is down, our stump grinding and removal service clears the leftover stump so the yard is usable again, not just tree-free.Routine Tree Trimming for Long-Term Property Health
Not every tree needs to come down. Regular tree trimming keeps Covington yards looking maintained while catching problems early, overgrown limbs near power lines, weak branches that could fail in the next storm, or growth patterns that put stress on a tree’s structure over time. It’s a smaller investment than emergency removal later, and it keeps a property looking cared for year-round.Storm Damage Cleanup and 24/7 Emergency Response
Louisiana storms don’t wait for business hours, and neither do we. Our storm damage cleanup crews are available 24/7 for Covington properties dealing with downed trees, blocked driveways, or damage that needs to be addressed before it gets worse. One client, Gail Varble, specifically noted that Evan didn’t price-gouge in the aftermath of Hurricane Ida, even as many competitors quadrupled their rates. That’s the kind of standard we hold ourselves to, storm or no storm.Land Clearing, Utility Line Clearance, and Demolition
Beyond individual tree work, we also handle larger-scale land clearing for Covington property owners preparing a lot for construction or reclaiming overgrown acreage. Our utility line clearance service keeps growth away from power lines before it becomes a hazard, and our demolition crews are equipped for structures that need to come down as part of a larger property project.get a free Estimate
